In the early 1970s, Marc Coutu spent three seasons building floats for the Macy’s Parade and scenery for Off-Broadway theater while earning a BFA in theatrical scene design. An opportunity to build scenery for the movie “Battlestar Galactica” evolved into 14 years as a “mill” and prop-shop foreman for Universal Studios, Hollywood. There he designed and built scenery and special effects for features ranging from “Scarface” to “Jurassic Park.” If an art director could imagine it, he could build it..</span><br />
